Working method of smoke and dust vacuum cleaner
The welding fume extractor includes fixed and mobile types. The mobile welding fume extractor has advantages such as small size, flexible movement, and ease of operation. Based on the number of working arms, system type, and dust cleaning method, it can generally be divided into four main categories: single-arm mobile welding fume extractor, double-arm mobile welding fume extractor, mobile single-pulse welding fume purifier, and mobile double-pulse welding fume purifier. These purifiers can directly purify to the indoor emission standards, allowing for complete indoor air circulation and saving a significant amount of thermal energy.
The mobile welding fume purifier itself is a welding fume purification system, similar to general welding fume purification systems, which consist of three main units. These units include the filtration unit and the core purification module of the mobile welding fume purifier. This module typically uses three layers of filtration. The first layer mainly blocks larger particles of welding fume, usually made of materials like metal mesh. The second layer is the main filtration layer, which must use HEPA filter material to achieve efficient purification. The final layer is the activated carbon layer, which primarily removes harmful gases and odors. The three layers of filter materials effectively address the filtration issue; however, without a good exhaust system, it is impossible to achieve good results. Therefore, for mobile welding fume purifiers, it is essential to be equipped with a relatively small, yet powerful, environmentally friendly centrifugal fan to ensure the working efficiency of the fume purifier. Lastly, there is the dust cleaning system. Similar to the cleaning system of bag dust collectors, we can consider three cleaning methods: reverse blowing, vibration, and pulse. For multi-layer filtered welding fume purifiers, vibration cleaning is not feasible. In terms of reverse blowing cleaning, the waiting time is relatively longer compared to pulse cleaning, so pulse cleaning is recommended.
With the above three units, the mobile welding fume purifier can basically be considered a complete purification system. However, there is a significant difference between mobile welding fume purifiers and industrial oil mist purifiers and dust collectors in terms of selection, which is the choice of the suction arm. It is necessary to consider the relationship between the effective length of the suction arm and the resistance of the pipeline to ensure that the ideal effect is achieved within an appropriate length.
